A beautiful antique probably early 20th Century Chinese dragon pin/brooch with great patina, gilt silver dragon (金龙)with low relief
carved, three apple green jade dangles with motif of leaves.( 此胸针主题为金枝玉叶Jin Zhi Yu Ye: 原形容花木枝叶美好。后多指皇族
子孙。现也比喻出身高贵或娇嫩柔弱的人。The motif of this pin/brooch has theme of Chinese idiom. Jin Zhi Yu Ye used to describle
beautiful branches, flowers and leaves. Later it means that royal family has fertility. Now it means someone who was born from a
noble family or very slim pretty girl. Dragon is a mythical symbol of wealth, power and protection.  Maker's mark on dragon: Sterling
Silver (纯银) and it measures 1 3/4" wide and 3" high or 4.5cmWx7cmH. It is in very good condition with no damages.
